Alberta Golf (Chestermere) – The 2020 Alberta Ladies Amateur Championship will see one of the strongest fields in the history of the championship compete for 3 days at Lakeside Golf Club in Chestermere just east of Calgary starting Monday June 29th. There are 18 players in the field with a handicap index better than zero including National Amateur Squad members Sarah-Eve Rheaume and Noemie Pare from Quebec along with National Junior Squad member Angela Arora from BC that will compete against players from Ontario, Saskatchewan and a very strong field of Albertans.

The 2019 Alberta Ladies Amateur Championship saw Becky Martin of Medicine Hat blow away the competition with a 7 stroke victory over Kylie Barros at the Ranch Golf Club In Edmonton to take the championship as well as the Mid Am title as well.

The Alberta Ladies Amateur Championship was first contested in 1929. The Mid Amateur and Mid Master divisions were added to the event in 2003 and 2010, respectively.
