Hailey Katona shoots 29 on back nine to take Alberta Ladies Amateur Title
Alberta Golf (Sherwood Park) – Ontario’s Hailey Katona was in quite the battle in the final round of The 2021 Alberta Ladies Amateur Championship. Starting the back nine she was tied with 2019 Alberta U19 Champion Grace Bell and BC’s Martina Yu. But Katona pulled away going birdie-birdie-eagle to start the back nine and added 3 more birdies for a back nine 29 and 66 for the day to win the title in impressive fashion.

Heather Lee from The Edmonton Country Club is both the Mid-Amateur and Mid-Master champion.
Candace Wikins from Goose Hummock Golf Resort is the ladies low net stableford champion.
Team Alberta consists of Grace Bell, Annabelle Ackroyd and Sydney Scraba.
