2024 Athlete Development Program
The Athlete Development program is designed to support golfers throughout the province reach their competitive goals in the sport and earn a post secondary scholarship.
Support is provided to athletes, coaches, and facilities through a tiered program that includes: training opportunities, game development guidance, recruiting support, as well as funding for players who qualify.
The tiered support program also provides a roadmap for players to follow from their journey at the club level (Tier 1) through to International Competition (Tier 4).

Important Dates
November 21, 2023 2024 Alberta Golf Player Support, Tier 2, Tier 3 & Tier 4 athletes identified.
December 1, 2023 Athlete names released and program applications sent to qualified players.
January 14 & 20, 2024 Alberta Golf High-Performance Summits (Earl Grey GC & Glendale G&CC)
February 1, 2024 Tier 3 and Tier 4 player bios and Tier 2 information posted to website
February 29, 2024 Tier Elite Development Weekend invitations sent to Tier 2 and 3 ranked players
