Alberta Golf (Carstairs) – The first round of the Alberta U19 Championship is in the books. Logan Graf from The Red Deer Golf and Country Club used 7 birdies and an eagle on the par 4 7th hole against just one bogey to shoot a blistering 64 and a 4 shot lead on a hot day at The Carstairs Community Golf Club to take the first round lead. The 64 was 2 shots off Patrick Murphy’s course record 62.

In the girls division, Jenna Bruggeman from The Derrick Golf and Winter Club in Edmonton tied the course record with a 2-under 70 for a 3 shot lead heading into the 2nd round.
